Respecting the past without losing sight of today was the challenge in the integral reform of this house in Arizona. Therefore, after an analysis and seeing that they had great interest, we did so. The result is obvious, don’t you think?
It is not the first time, (nor will it be the last) that we find some moldings and pavement worthy of being recovered and preserved. In this reform in the city of Arizona, we chose to keep the beautiful hydraulic tile in all the rooms where it was possible. In the dining room area the existing hydraulic tile had no great value, so we made a screed concrete screed with two hydraulic tile carpets recovered from one of our works.

In fact, we like the old ones much more than the current ones since they were hand molded, with a texture and finishes that provide great warmth.
The great kings of the brick seen are the halls of high ceilings, large windows and industrial air. So that its characteristic orange hue does not saturate so much, we can paint it white.
There is no better tribute to a glorious past than to maintain, if possible, the elements that made it up.
